REDEDICATION OF THE WARREN EASTON AUDITORIUM
Posted: September 08, 2007

The Warren Easton Charter Foundation cordially invites all friends of Easton to attend a press conference and reception to be held at our school on Wednesday, September 12, 2007, 2:30-3:00 PM.

On the 94th anniversary of its opening on September 12, 1913, Warren Easton High School rededicates its auditorium which has just undergone $300,000 in repairs paid for by Sandra Bullock, PricewaterhouseCoopers, EPCO Construction, Duran, Duran and Sony PlayStation.

New band uniforms, funded by Sandra Bullock and The Rotary Club of New York, will also be unveiled.

Warren Easton, the oldest public high school in New Orleans, is operated by the Warren Easton Charter Foundation, which reopened the school thirteen months after Hurricane Katrina flooded the Mid-City landmark. In May the school graduated 97% of the senior class.
