BULLOCK SHINES ON THE RED CARPET
Posted: December 18, 2009Sandra Bullock hosted a special New Orleans premiere of her new movie, The Blind Side at the Prytania Theater to benefit the Warren Easton Charter Foundation on November 19. Nearly 300 VIPS attended the invitation-only event, including members of the New Orleans Saints. Nearly $80,000 in donations was collected and pledges continue to be received. A highlight of the evening was the performance of the Golden Eagle Marching Band, which greeted guests as they exited the theater.

Posted: December 18, 2009On October 23 more than fifty friends of Easton participated in a benefit golf tournament at the Belle Terre Golf Club in LaPlace, LA. The event raised nearly $4,000 for the Warren Easton Charter Foundation.
